The design aimed to maximise the affinity with cbd buildings and to work as a transitional building between its two extreme neighbours. The success of the project relied on the merits of its contextual response and approach to urban design.

The use of sandstone on the base of the building links the proposal with the adjoining buildings and the proposed restaurant will bring pedestrian activity to the streetscape and improve the amenity of the area. The podium element maintains the existing scale of the development along the street frontage. The upper levels are clad in an all glass facade which curves away at the top, enclosing a transparent landscape conservatory.
